AFTER YEARS OF wondering ‘HOW DO ANIMATORS ANIMATOR ANIMATE INANIMATE CHARACTER IN MIDAIR?’ - the question has finally come to a conclusion:

They use something call RIG. I would say only lazy people would spent years seeking for the name of this ‘not so amazing’ but useful tool, while others have been creatively thinking of a more economically effective methodology to it. That is I am lazy. 

Here is an image of what it’s so called a RIG:

One of the greatest stop motion and visual effects animator Patrick Boivin uses it a lot, also he uses green plasticine to match up the green screen background he uses in most of his animated videos. (Videos link)

It’s time for me to get one too!!!! And also some green screen for me to start playing with productivity…. >.>

A really good video reference for animating drops on water… X) I think I have seen a video tutorial on Flash by someone on youtube on how to animate water if u were dropped…:O
